Email is a service for exchanging messages and files over the Internet. Each user has an address of the form name@domain.uz: the user name goes before the @ sign and the address of the mail service after it. A free mailbox can be opened with services such as Gmail, Mail.ru or Yandex Mail.
When writing a message we fill in the To field (the recipient’s address), the Subject (a short heading saying what the message is about) and the text. You can attach a file to the message, such as a picture, a document or a presentation. A sent message arrives in the recipient’s Inbox, and you reply with the “Reply” button.
You need to be careful when communicating online. Never give your password to anyone; make it long and made of letters, digits and symbols. Do not click links or open files from unknown senders, because they may be scams or viruses. Do not share personal data such as your home address, phone number or school, and be respectful to others.
